You may unsubscribe at any time by:
- Clicking the unsubscribe link included in an email; or
- Contacting us using the information in Section 13.
Unsubscribing will stop future marketing or newsletter emails, but it may not prevent us from sending a message that is legally required or necessary to respond to a request you initiated.
We may retain a limited record of an unsubscribed email address on a suppression or blocklist so that we can honor the unsubscribe request and avoid contacting that address again.
Where required, we maintain records relating to newsletter consent, which may include the date, time, signup source, and technical information associated with the subscription.
4. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Site may use cookies and similar technologies to operate, secure, measure, and improve the Site.
Cookies may include:

Where required by applicable law, non-essential cookies will not be used until you provide consent through the Site’s cookie controls.
You may be able to manage or disable cookies through:
- The cookie controls provided on the Site, where available; or
- Your browser settings.
Disabling cookies may affect certain Site features. Browser settings and cookie controls may not remove information that was previously collected.
5. Google Analytics
We may use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the Site. Google Analytics may collect information such as device and browser information, session activity, approximate location, referral sources, and interactions with Site pages.
Google may process this information on our behalf to provide analytics reports and related services. We do not intend to send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to Google Analytics.
Google Analytics provides controls relating to data collection, retention, advertising features, and deletion. The precise information collected may depend on our configuration and the features enabled at the time of your visit.
Where required, Google Analytics will be activated only after you provide the necessary cookie consent.

We do not sell personal information for money.
We do not share newsletter email addresses with unaffiliated third parties for those parties’ own direct-marketing purposes.
California disclosure: We do not knowingly sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising as those terms are defined under California law. This statement should be updated if advertising, remarketing, or similar tracking technologies are added to the Site.
8. Third-Party Links and Embedded Content
The Site may contain links to, or embedded content from, third-party websites and services, including YouTube, Zapier, Twilio, CRM platforms, and LeadTruffle, a company co-founded by Bryan Shankman.
Third-party services may collect information directly from your browser, set cookies, or track your interaction with their content. Their collection and use of information are governed by their own privacy policies, not this Privacy Policy.
A link to or reference to a third-party service does not necessarily mean that we endorse all of its practices.
9. Data Retention
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, maintain security, and enforce agreements.
Generally:
- Newsletter information is retained while you remain subscribed.
- Suppression records may be retained after unsubscribing to honor your opt-out.
- Communications may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to respond and maintain appropriate business records.

Retention periods may vary depending on the nature of the information and applicable legal requirements.

Our service providers may process or store personal information in countries other than the country where you live.
Those countries may have different data-protection laws. Where required by applicable law, we and our service providers use appropriate safeguards for international transfers of personal information.

- Request restriction of certain processing

Withdrawing consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before consent was withdrawn.
To submit a request, contact us using the information in Section 13. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request. We will not discriminate against you for exercising an applicable privacy right.
Legal Bases for European Visitors
If you are located in the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we generally process personal information under one or more of the following legal bases:
- Consent: For newsletter communications and non-essential cookies where consent is required.
- Legitimate interests: To operate, secure, analyze, and improve the Site, provided those interests are not overridden by your rights.
- Contractual necessity: When processing is needed to provide something you requested.
- Legal obligation: When processing is necessary to comply with applicable law.
12. Children’s Privacy
The Site is intended for business owners, operators, marketers, and other adult professionals. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Site, contact us. If we confirm that such information was collected, we will take reasonable steps to delete it.
Users under the age of majority where they live should use the Site only with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
13. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information.
However, no website, transmission method, or storage system is completely secure. We cannot guarantee that information will never be accessed, used, altered, or disclosed without authorization.
14. Do Not Track Signals
Some browsers provide a “Do Not Track” signal. Because there is not currently a universally accepted standard for responding to these signals, the Site may not respond to them.
Where legally required, we will recognize applicable browser-based opt-out preference signals, such as Global Privacy Control, for processing subject to those requirements.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the Site, our service providers, our information practices, or applicable law.
When we make changes, we will revise the “Last updated” date at the top of the policy. If a change materially affects how we use previously collected personal information, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required.
Your continued use of the Site after an updated policy is posted does not override any consent requirement imposed by applicable law.
